From the "GESTURES" series
This print was created from a hand-carved linoleum block and printed with Prussian Blue (think midnight blue) oil-based relief ink and painted gold detail on archival paper. The print measures 6”x8” on 9"x12" paper. Limited edition of 75, signed and dated.
What's a lino? A linocut is a printmaking technique, in which a block of linoleum is carved into and used as the printing surface. The raised part of the block is inked with a roller and then impressed onto paper. All muscle power over here.
*Please note that these are all hand-pressed prints, so slight pressing lines, small ink spots and other small variations may occur on the print during the printing process.
